365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – Blog#104 – You Never Know Where the Taonga Will Come from, So Get Out There and Live!

Submitted by on July 30, 2010 – 9:54 pm One Comment

It’s amazing what happens when you let go, step outside into the big world, and meet people.  I was getting a haircut today and got chatting to a lovely lady (Lisa), who happened to have a passion for marketing.  She gave me a sexy and snazzy idea for the green energy design competition (Wild Energy) we’re developing.  She suggested I invite the power company who are proposing to dam the wild and beautiful Mokihinui, to get actively involved.  I’ll give you more details if they show an openness to her grand idea.  I plan to email them soon with a gem of a proposal.  I’m a great believer in simply asking people to join in.  Sometimes, they say yes.  As Lisa snipped away, hands a blur, she reeled off the details of the way I could approach them, what I should say, how I should say it and why it could be beneficial on multiple levels to all involved.  I left, feeling far more attractive then when I arrived, and deeply inspired.  I left with a great idea bubbling merrily away in my mind. I also left feeling happier.

You just never know where the mind-food will come from …
