It’s an inspiring article about a young photographer from Claire’s hood – Whangarei. I love the huge optimism in Claire’s words and the power in Alivia’s photography. She’s young, feisty, determined and focused. Right on.
I’m also pleased to see good news articles about local personalities appearing in Happyzine, Claire’s work may be influenced by Rebecca’s ‘100 Mile Harvest’ series which were based around Coromandel. I’d like to see more of this in the coming year.
Happyzine writers are ka pai, to say the least. And so we rock into another year of good news!
Gotta go, it’s late, and I’ve got a naked three year old here who needs my attention so he can go ‘beddie byes’. You wouldn’t believe the things that go down in this house as I steer Happyzine. Or perhaps you would – family life – it’s lush, loving, and always entertaining.
