Success! – Wellington Climate Conversations – News from Generation Zero

Last Wednesday my associate Jack Tolley and myself rolled in to Te Puni hall of residence in Wellington. We came to spread the word and the energy, that our country can make something of ourselves and take world leading action!

We came with guns blazing, ready to give them all the reasons, possibly even dealing it out to deniers.

But it’s funny you know, when you run something like this you kinda gear up to work hard to get your point across. What we got was a better response than we dared wish for!

So many of the Te Puni kids are already switched on to this stuff and keen for change. It was harder to shut them up than get them talking! How many more are like this around the country, whose voice could be heard, if only it was part of the chorus?

So anyway, thanks to all youse at Te Puni for making it a wicked talk!

Conversations around Wellington will continue next week at Joan Stevens on Monday and Weir House on Thursday. We’re super excited to be going out and talking to people about this stuff, so look out for more in the pipeline after that!
