I recently have been playing around and experimenting with raw food and realized how little i know about it, how exiting it is and how much it suits me. I am passionate about personal and spiritual growth and realize that a raw food diet can have an enormous impact on my path. I am also determined to offer the best possible start to my 1 year old daughter Sophia, who is getting more and more interested in food.

I’d love the chance to win this fantastic opportunity.
I am a 33 year old single female, who would love to meet that someone special to spend the rest of my life with but even though I am a size 14, I am very unhappy with my body and the crap I put in it.
You think been a two times cancer survivor, I’d appreciate myself better, but the fact I work as a early childhood in-home educator working 52 hours plus a week I just don’t seem to have the energy I used to have, not been helped by been a night owl and eating a diet that is not very healthy with the only exercise been the stuff I do within my job.
I would love to be able to change my lifestyle and have a new outlook on life.

What can I say! I’ve been drooling intently over Sarah Lea’s weekly collumn in Happy zine, It’s the one I look forward to reading first before enjoying the positive news from Christchurch (my home) and perusing the rest. I’m right back into green smoothies and salads and otherwise have been expanding my raw repetoire of deserts as birthday presents (the most important meal of the day right?) I like how Sarah addresses the different aspects of a raw lifestyle… budgets, protein concerns, kids meals, inspiration, celebration. And I’m hooked! so exctied that this course is being offered right before the busy holiday and summer periods. Sarah, I believe you’ll be an amazing teacher and we (my daughter and I) would love to be your freebie. I would love to journal my experience and give something back to you!

    Hello Charlotte & Sarah,
This course is perfect timing! I have just been in the UK for a couple of months and have been feeling the effects of a much heavier diet with food that has travelled from all over the world. My partner and I cant wait to return to NZ where we can get all our produce from our doorstep. And we are moving to Golden Bay! I have also been looking for a cooking course of healthy foods to give me the confidence to just dive in and have a go so I can really enjoy some creativity in the kitchen. If I were chosen for a space on the course, I would love to offer an exchange. I work with healing energies and crystals. I look forward to meeting you at the group lunch as I know this is the course for me. Love Emily, x

Hi Sarah, Thanks for offering this oppertunity. As an active member of our community there are often days when I miss meals due to being caught up in the moment which in the long term results in tiredness and lack of motivation to have a social life beyond helping others. I am striving towards balance this year so that I can take myself to the next level in regards to what I can can offer to myself and others as a healer, helper and volunteer. This course would be the perfect boost to help achieve never running on empty again. Kia ora Cindy

I would love to win a place on this course, aside from the fact it sounds very interesting and really speaks to the way I am looking to change my life for a much more healthier option , not to mention the bonus of weight loss, the selling point for me for this course is that Sarah has kicked Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to touch and for me that would be amazing. Diagnosed begining of this year with CFS I have refused to believe I cannot get well again and here is an amazing opportunity to support and educate myself back to wellness. thank you very much.

Sarah Lea makes healthy living sexy, sumptuous and downright simple! With her contagious enthusiasm and passionate creativity, i believe Sarah’s course would benefit my elder sister with motivation and ideas for her to experience renewed health and energy while eating raw. Her three children would also benefit from this nourishing new diet! A recent (chronic to acute) health imbalance has awoken my sister to the need for more self-care, what better way to begin than with Sarah’s support towards honoring our two-way Temple of Body and Mama Earth :)

This sounds like a wonderful course and I wish we could all do it for free! However, Sarah wants to launch her business too! I am a a mature student (quite mature!) doing a Master’s degree in Health Psychology and I have been wanting to eat raw for years. Now its becoming urgent as I am developing Type 2 diabetes.I want to be around on this planet, in sound mind and body, to use my degree to really make a difference. As a health psychologist I know what a difference support can make to a person’s health journey; we just can’t do it alone, its too hard. All the best, Sarah, with your new venture =)

In answer to Martine, this weeks Happyzine article gives you all an insight to alchemical tools you might find handy during this course. Personally I cant do without my blender and food processor….and a sharp knife, chopping ‘board and grater. The recipes will be simple, mostly 5 minute meals that you dont need to blow your yearly food budget on! I give you alternative ideas in case you are without such equipment…but I truly believe that even if you wind up eating your regular food….although I would find that hard to believe!…a blender and food processor will be handy helpers in your cooked kitchen too.

  • Joni Bee says:

Sarah, its compelling and inspiring to try out your techniques.
I see myself as someone who knows these rules, and benefits. I often apply them into my day, but find myself losing it sometimes.
I would really love to have the community, and support of people setting out on the same journey to share the experience together.

I can see myself as a leader and a lover. When I discover something new and powerful I want to share it with others. If it has had such an effect on my health and mentality I want to share it, so that we can help to make the world a better place because everyone deserves to feel supernatural!

Right now I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I find it harder to stay focused on my health and well being here, because people around are less interested in those aspects of life as they are to materialistic value.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if I could carry out this beam of healthly light here, that they will stop to ask…what is that she’s on? ‘I want what she’s having’

That’s what I hope to be able to do, is to shed the light, and lead by example. It’s a clear feeling in my body, that it’s the right place to be, I try to make the daily practice of clearing my energies and creating the space for love to enter in my day.
It can be lost in transition of this big city sometimes, and I would really absolutely love it if I could participate in your online course, to reboost what’s already there in me, and in all of us.

    Love and light,
    Joni

    Dear Sarah, dear Charlotte,

The content of this course seems to be the missing puzzle piece!

I would love to win the offered place to learn more, to implement something I have heard about but with current health problems have never taken up for myself as the cooked diet seems to agree better with me.

My doctor is knowledgeable but not to an extent where he would suggest to go on a particular diet and never return to see him…. they only get information from big pharma and have no time to learn about nutrition.

So, we have to do something about it ourselves, and as women/ wives/ mothers/ friends we can set the course and help many people.

Reading through the above article it doesn’t seem to be so impossible anymore to start doing it, also with summer coming and warmer temperatures I look forward to introducing a new diet.
Here in Hawke’s Bay there doesn’t seem to be anyone teaching how to go about it, and I would love to get involved in community education ( I am a German trained home economics and handcraft teacher, locally involved in craft workshops).

I will start my research about raw food today and look forward to reading more from Sarah!

    With regards,
    Ingrid Schloemer

Wow, there’s a lot of people entered already!
What can I say, I too would love to win a spot on this online course, and I know that it could benefit my whole family.

In March I gave birth to our third and last bub, I have been loving staying at home with her, and along with her birth, she has given me the headspace to think about what I really want in life. Instead of having the majority of my head in ‘career land’ I’ve slowed down and have started to really seriously think about the kind of life I want to give our family, including the impact that the food we eat has impacts our lives.

After reading Sarah’s results from changing to raw food, I can really relate. It seems like I’ve felt tired for the last seven years….since I fell pregnant with daughter number one. We’ve recently started juicing & I’ve definitely felt the benefits of that. I’d also love to loose weight, although i’d like to say it was pre baby weight, it’s more like pre babies weight! For years I’ve been quite static in my exercise, but recently I have started to try running…when I say running, I mean run then walk then run a little more then walk a little more.

So definitely feel like this would be a great motivational tool with others to get me going towards change, rather than a complete change of lifestyle. I think our whole family would benefit, me from more energy which of course has knock on effects for everyone in the family! My husband who suffers from depression would love to stop taking his medication, my elder daughters who love sugary food and of course my littlest bub who we also want to give the best start in life, is just about to start solids.

So by picking me you’d not just be picking me, you’d be picking my entire family!

I am feeling super excited to be a part of this course!!! After living with C.F.S/M.E in varying degrees for the last 16 years and a whole eclectic variety of other health imbalances, I am only just starting to dare to believe that I may not only FULLY recover from this thing, but may also THRIVE AND SORE TO NEW HEIGHTS OF WELL~BEING!

I have tried almost everything in and out of the books on the healing journey, and remain passionate about growing well~being! I am currently seeing slow and steady improvements to all sorts of symptoms; + general peace and clarity growing through blissful disciplined juicing and increasing raw goodness in daily life! Holy wowsa the power of quality fresh food!!!

One of the most healing and joyful things that I could recommend to anyone is developing a relationship with food as it grows through growing your own vegie garden plot. Who would of thought something so simple could be so healing on so many levels of yah being!

I am so much looking forward to gaining new ideas, learning and sharing on this course. I WILL find a way to attend whether I win this spot or not!! It would however be an incredible help to the ol’ budget to win a place on this course!! Choose me! Go’on I dare you.
