Sydney’s canopy sprouts green, cool future

Entries for the 2014 Ballance Farm Environment Awards have just opened. The New Zealand Farm Environment Trust runs the awards which promote environmentally, economically and socially sustainable land management by farmers and growers, including including orchardists, vegetable growers and viticulturists. Nine regions are open to the awards and previous winners have remarked in the Manawatu Standard article, that entering the awards “taps into a philosophy” and helps personal development by meeting and being inspired by like-minded people.
