A BIG thank you to the Central Leader, Element magazine, Green Ideas NZ, Auckland City Harbour News, Ponsonby News for their support to plant fruit trees for Auckland. Also to the Auckland Council,New Zealand Lottery Grants Board, The Baxter Initiative – Claire Baxter, Avondale Massage Therapy & Natural Health and a generous selection of local businesses and individuals for their financial contribution. We now have 374 people, schools, early childhood centres, community groups and individuals planting fruit trees for Auckland in August this year. This is nearly twice as many people as we had last year and we are looking forward to providing more free fruit for many years to come.
