Passionate about cycling and want to make a difference in this fine country?

The New Zealand Cycling Advocates Network (CAN) says the NZ Transport Agency are pulling together a team of “cycling-focused employees.”

CAN secretary Adrian Croucher said they’re putting together a ‘National Cycling Team’ who will “work across a whole programme of initiatives ranging from planning and investing in capital works, to design guidelines to policy development.”

NZTA states that it is “committed to work with our partners to plan and deliver a step change in cycling that drives faster delivery through innovation and partnerships.  We want to make cycling safer and get more people cycling, more often,” he said.

There are three positions available: “Senior Transport Planner Cycling”, “Advisor Cycling” or “Senior Advisor Cycling” and “Senior Advisor”. Applications close at 5 pm, 22 October 2014.

If this sounds like you, job specifications and other information are available here.
