Ten Good Things to do These Holidays (From an Eleven Year Old’s Perspective).

Submitted by on April 7, 2010 – 8:30 am

As you know in the holidays us kids really like being kept busy.  But the most common words said during the holidays are “I am bored”. That’s why I have decided to write about ten things you can do in the holidays that will cost nothing or will cost just a little bit of money.
10- Take the kids to the local park and bring a picnic. That would be fun for the kids to spend some time with their parents
9- Go visit the family, it may cost you some petrol money but it will mean the kids can catch up with relatives and you adults can catch up with your brothers and friends of family etc
8- Go to the beach, it is free and the kids will be able to cool down and for the girls, you can sunbath till you drop.
7-Organise your kids  to invite some friends over for a sleepover. They will be distracted showing off to each other that you will probably forget they even exist and you will be able to relax.
6- Rent a few DVD’S, That would keep them busy and will give them a few laughs.
5- Find them a hobbie, singing, dancing, rugby or anything that makes the kids fit and healthy but having fun at the same time.
4-Take your children and their friends to an event – tenpin bowling, swimming at the wave pools etc
3-Make a garden. Get the kids to help out. Studies prove that when children garden they behave better
2-Send the kids to a holiday programe. It will keet them entertained for a low price
1-Go on holiday, remember it doesnt mean going to Aussie it means jusy get out of the house for a few days.
