Happyzine 2015 = exciting times ahead

Whew!  Prize draw launched! It took a bit of effort pulling it all together, but it’s all systems are go now, so I can relax and see what happens.
Next stop: my first ever e-book.  Have you ever written an e-book?  If you have, leave a comment on my blog right now with words of wisdom and encouragement please!
I’m writing it, I’m about seventy percent there … I think.  And I feel good about it, if a little nervous.  It’s a work of art you see, even though it’s only an online resource, it’s MY online resource.  It’s MY creation, and it sort of reminds me of the process I went through to create my album (only that took me three years).
So the e-book will merge positive thinking with environmentalism.  I mean, of course that’s what it’s about.  How very Happyzine.  How very Charlotte.  I’ve long been a passionate believer in the power of inspiring people to take action via exciting news and this first e-book will go into detail about ways to do get the inspiration flow’n.  That’s why I got into organics many years ago, I saw it as the best way to promote natural goods and good health, rather than getting caught up in the hype about chemicals or GE.  And when I ended up working for a political party on the GE issue I felt even more clear in my belief that it’s better to work at supporting the culture I want to see thrive, than pour my energy into one I don’t believe in.
So I’ve used my skills (in general writing and communication) over the past decade to help grow organics and permaculture and other aspects of environmentalism such as natural building and sustainable business.  I know that each of us have special powers to share for the good of the planet.  I know that each of us have an inner super (wo)man inside just packed with the potential to help our natural environment return to normality and it’s time we got excited about it and focused on it as a nation, as a culture.  Research has proven that optimistic people achieve greater results in sales and within their careers, so I’m talking about applying that optimism to the planet.  Easy peasy, right?
Today I developed an e-book promotion plan with my lovely business coach Serena Star.  It was so exciting.  More about that soon.
