365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – Blog#155 – People Love People
Greatest moment of the day: proudly watching my son remove his trousers and romp with his friends in a puddle. There will come the day when he will ask me to refrain from writing such things for the public sphere, but seeing he’s just shy of three, I’m hoping all evidence of this blog will be buried deep beneath years of other blogs by the time his twenty first rolls around.
Why was I proud? Because he’s my happy, vibrant, healthy, calm, gentle boy and he was being a typical three year old. Kinda simple isn’t it? The little things that trigger happiness.
Ok, that moment is closely followed by the old lady who walked past our house (after turning up at bowls to find she possibly had the wrong day, again) who stopped to have a chat with, once again, the son who I am so immensely proud of. Kahu introduced her to our dog. They all bonded. She was impressed. She didn’t mind at all that his face was smeared with spirilina and boysenberry juice. She just dug the fact that he was talking to her in a friendly kind of manner. And he pretty much felt the same.
People love people.
