365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – Blog 279 – Happy Wild Energy Aghhhhhhhh!!!!
I’ve spent the past month really pushing Wild Energy. I’ve kept the faith, even ’til the last moment. Blind faith it has indeed been. I joined a goal setting group on facebook to help keep me positive and focused and I think it really helped. And I’ve just received the eighth magnificent entry. For me, this is just amazing. This is just what I wanted. I’m marveling at the power of the past three days – usually around now towards the end I would have just let it go. But I kept thinking up ways to promote Wild Energy, really novel ideas, such as this wild card press release: ‘Green Super Heroes! You’ve Got Twenty-Four Hours to Save New Zealand’s Wild Rivers and Change the Course of Green Energy Design History for Ever!‘ that I thought of all of a sudden, wrote quickly and ended up getting into one of the world’s most popular green design websites www.inhabitat.com – which then resulted in way more publicity for Wild Energy – THIS MORNING!
And then there was the sudden urge to call green design businesses that came over me – I followed it and received this entry: ‘Marine Turbine Power Generation’.
I now feel so much more confident after experiencing what can come from keeping my eye on my goal and trusting in it right up until the last minute. Even now I wouldn’t be surprised to receive more Wild Energy entries – the deadline’s 11.59 pm. Thankyou thankyou thankyou world for this amazing experience.
I’ve been buzzing with the excitement of this challenge. Just seeing my original vision for it – which was to post some inspiring, innovative power generation or conservation ideas up on Happyzine so that we Kiwis can really come to grips with the fact that anything is possible environmentally – become an inspiring reality. It’s been pure pleasure.

Charlotte, you’re an inspiration as always. Thanks for giving us kiwis a kick toward innovation – we all know we’re never going to proseper economically or environmentally if we aim ourselves down the path of coal extraction, much less lignite extraction.. so thanks for making a competition which can focus us on a more sustainable future.
Now we just need to super-resource the winner to elevate their solution to mass production.. let me know if Enspiral can be of any help?
Muchos aroha for your efforts!
