Happyzine 2015 = exciting times ahead

John Knox of Ride the Talk sent me a link to the new, free ebook ‘More Than Luck’ a few days ago.  I checked it out today and found that it was a policy document targeted at the Australian government which was developed by an “independent progressive think tank” called the The Centre for Policy Development (Australia).  It’s interesting catching a glimpse of Australian politics, I’ve also been involved in PlanBig recently, which is an Australian site. But back to ‘More Than Luck’.

“The book shows what’s needed to share this country’s good luck amongst all Australians – now and in the future. We asked our authors to come up with creative, ambitious and achievable ideas for change. The result is a mix of easy wins that are ready to be implemented and some big, bold nation building ideas that may require a bit more backbone on the part of our political leaders.”

Very cool.

It’s contributed to by a wide range of authors, featuring subjects such as ‘getting health care into shape’, ‘human rights at the cross roads’ and ‘cultural cross roads in Australia’.  They’ve uploaded the whole book to this site via a creative commons licence – meaning ‘help yourself’ and please ‘share the love’.

Times are a chang’n.  People world-wide are in the mood for hope and share’n.
