Happiness does not make you stupid! What does, is not being mindful. It’s clear to me that we have an inbuilt, early warning intuitional system. So that as joyous as you become, you will still be alerted to danger. The only danger is to deny the warnings and think that joy will suffice to solve the problems we face. It will not. We do that by the power of our being. Also Happiness will not dissolve simply because you have problems. It will rather take on a different energy, still buoyant, but right for the pressing moment.

I have definitely found myself questioning from time to time if by moving forward with joy and with an absence of fear, I am stupidly exposing myself to ‘danger’ both physical and emotional, or blindly throwing myself into potentially harmful situations…these thoughts may be fleeting, but they still pop up.
