Five minutes with Sarb Johal, Wellington on ‘What’s good for you right now?’
Submitted by Charlotte on February 19, 2013 – 4:39 pm
I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to participate in the 2013 Leadership NZ programme. After this weekend’s opening retreat, I already feel nourished and slightly giddy at the potential of the coming year.
Now that we are approaching the two-year anniversary of the February earthquake, I feel immensely priveleged being able to participate and, in my own small way, contribute into the great work in the Canterbury region focused on recovery.
I am looking forward to running the Tarawera Ultramarathon next month and feel in a good physical and mental space after having run and recovered from 3 marathons in the last 4 months.
And finally, I’m enjoying the gorgeous weather that the summer has brought to NZ. How fantastic it’s been to feel the warmth on my face in and in my bones, with smiley happy faces all around.
