Strengthening Happyzine as a strong, thriving independent subscription supported positive news website by sourcing and compiling high quality content, promoting it via social media, and running online Club Happyzine campaigns to grow membership.

The Skills you need for this position:
* Communication – proven ability to comfortably and effectively liaise with news providers, community and business leaders, Happyzine readers and staff
* Research and writing – proven ability to interview for, compile for and write positive news
* Analytical – the nouse to spot the perfect Happyzine story
* Tenacity – proven ability to forge successfully into new terrain online
* Innovation – proven ability to think creatively, and to successfully action ideas
Time required:
* 6 months contract (with potential to renew), 5 – 10 hours per week.
Important – Please only apply if you’re serious about this role. Though this is a volunteer position, full commitment will be required and training will be given. This position would suit you if you were sure you comfortably could offer 5 – 10 per week to this role from January to July 2014.
