Music at Matua kicks off with a clean up of Muriwai Beach
Press Release: Loopnews
In what’s becoming a new trend in Kiwi music, an environmental agency will be hosting the clean up of an Auckland beach on the morning of the concert Music at Matua.
Sustainable Coastlines will be running a clean up of Muriwai Beach before the event.
Music at Matua will return this summer on Saturday 8th February, 2014 with a lineup that includes:
TRINITYROOTS, SJD, JOSEPH & MAIA, LAUGHTON KORA.
Say the LOOP team “We’re super happy to say, it will be headliners, TrinityRoots’ only Summer 2014 show and to cap it off, they’ll be playing loads of new and unreleased material from their forthcoming album, which is set to drop later in 2014.
“Not only that, the day will also include a set by this year’s Taite Music Prize winner, SJD (full band performance); while up-and-coming folk-pop duo, Joseph & Maia will be warming up the stage. Capping off the lineup will be former Kora frontman, Laughton Kora who will deliver a not-to-be-missed solo performance.”
