Germany powered by 74% renewable energy in one day
Germany is putting on the heat to the rest of the world to step up and get green. It was recorded that “renewable energy sources were responsible for 74% of the country’s ENTIRE DEMAND during the middle of a day” during the weekend of the 17/18th May 2014.
So, this shows how possible it is for an entire country to be powered through green technology; imagine if New Zealand aimed to be run entirely on renewable energy sources?
