Takaka Carrie’s man says buying local food’s easy!

Carrie is eating food grown and produced within a 200 km radius for 30 days of April in theHappyzine Eat Local Challenge.
I’m Carrie and my family are supporting, though not taking up the challenge, though I am head chef at our home so they are following without knowing.
My husband has became quite inspired, though when I first mentioned the challenge he was like “easy just go to the local supermarket haha”. The children thought it was a really grand idea until Easter came then well …
Its been a great week, had to give up sugar but all going well – even with Easter here and chocolate being my weakness. Traveling for the weekend to friends was a challenge but luckily Hubby had harvested a three of chickens a couple of weeks ago, and they have a neighbour with a great veggee garden they share.
