Applications Open for Creative Young Kiwis.

The Mental Health Foundation is calling for applications for POD, an incubator programme that supports young Kiwis to turn their creative ideas into an effective social change project.

People aged 17 -24 who have an innovative project idea that will change negative attitudes and increase awareness about mental distress are invited to apply now – applications close on Friday 3rd June.

POD aims to connect, inspire, inform, build and support young creatives to develop the leadership and project management skills they need to make a difference for young kiwis who experience mental distress.

The FREE six-month programme involves weekend workshops and mentoring and has been designed so young Kiwis can develop their project alongside other study/work/family commitments.

Individual or group projects are welcome. The sky is the limit for application ideas – from a dance performance, art exhibit, apps, writing, music, martial arts to a website, all ideas are welcome!

POD has been developed by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand in partnership with theAffinity Services Youth Advisory Group and is a Community Partnership Funded project under the Like Minds, Like Mine programme.

Apply before 3 June 2016 at:
