With nearly twenty years of writing experience, focusing mostly on solutions focused journalism, Charlotte is our founding editor.  She dreamed up Happyzine seven years ago and has nudged it along like a clucking mother ever since. Charlotte has a degree with a double major in Social Policy and politics.  She is a solutions journo junkie – and is constantly finding more exciting stories to write about people making a positive difference in the face of today’s most pressing challenges.  She is the proud mother of seven year old Kahu and she lives in the tight knit community of Golden Bay with her hubby, kid, dog, cat, and most recently – mother (who came with two singing canaries).  Charlotte is also a singer/song writer in the band Mohua Sun.  And she works part-time for the Nelson Mail as a ‘normal journalist’.
