Hi Kay, I totally understand you. The tuis in our area are also repetitive and very monotonous with only one note. From 4.30am to after 9.30pm: “toot. toot. toot. toot.” … “toot. toot. toot. toot.”… “toot. toot. toot. toot.” over and over and over nothing else. I adore the other song (warbling, whistling and coughing) tuis can do but we don’t hear that part, all we hear is one note, four times. Over and over and over. It is extremely annoying and stressful – I have to wear ear plugs otherwise it absolutely drives me nuts.

I have been using the stinging nettle tea to make my Kombucha. It really is delicious and I drink a full glass of it before breakfast. I have done this for about three weeks and am noticing that I have less pain.
I also make ordinary tea with it. I would love to grow it but where can I find the plants? I live in Tauranga. Thank you

Hi, in our family this St. John’s wort plant was used for years , we just go in the forrest in pick them up and dry at home . We knew that is a healthy herb so because we loved to go anyway to a trip with our girls and our dog ,cat … Was wonderfull . And here in New Zealand found out that it is considered a weed and so hard to have it in our garden . I can t find a plant … ! So we have to buy it !

A while ago there was no kefir in supermarkets and few heard about it. I really missed kefir when I come to New Zealand and didn’t know how it was made. Then I found out and got kefir grains and started making my own kefir.

I post milk kefir grains every week anywhere in New Zealand. I have been sharing/selling kefir grains for many years and I am happy to share my knowledge and experience and provide my support in case you need it. A university professor recently gave a televised lecture on happiness and referred to the this study, and others, about what makes us happy, or doesn’t, and the consequences. But her very first statement was that our lifelong outlook on life was heavily dependent on our sense of “Security and Attachment” in the first four years of our lives. Ergo: if you want to have happy and healthy children, you must give them love and emotional nourishment when they are young.
