SOLD: Beautiful Happyzine

Today has been an exciting day on the Happyzine front. Thanks to David Laing (who it turns out is a total online application techy kind of guy) we’ve now set up RSS feeds from many of our favorite sites, into Happyzine. This my darlings, is both wildly exciting and challenging. Not challenging in an ‘icky’ way, no, more in a ‘oh my goodness this is amazing and it raises so many new issues and questions for happyzine that all need to be ironed out asap’ sort of way.

So far all our material had been original, mostly blogs, and some used to be in the form of lists of good-news headlines. Now, suddently there are screeds of positive news blogs waiting to be allowed up online, with images, that currently don’t want to sit there all nice and polite on our front page. There are ways through these issues – I just don’t know what they are right now.

This is all new for me. My philosophy: roll with it and see what happens!

Another exciting thing is that my lovely business coach Serena Star Leonard is now challenging me to have launch parties for my e-book! What a woman! She’s right though – it’s one of the challenges for us online business owners – we need to get seen. As in, rather than hiding behind the front faces of our lovely websites, it’s good to get out there in public and meet the actual human beings who read our work. So this shall happen (shiver f fear/excitment).

Yep, as I said: I’m rolling with it.
