365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – Blog 241 – Lost in the Music

Submitted by on December 22, 2010 – 11:00 am

Best moment of the day: was getting so lost in a new song I was playing for my girly band that I didn’t care what I looked like.  The song took over and told my heart and and body what to do, meanwhile my head hung in there and didn’t say much at all.  Which was nice.  Actually that happens a lot with music.  All self-consciousness flies out the window and joy and the spirit of the song takes over.

Then there’s the issue of looking cool.  You can’t look cool and sing out loud and passionate.  Well I don’t think you can.  Well I can’t.   Really though, it does depend on your definition of ‘cool’.

Anyway they liked it.  My new – old song.  And so it shall be played to the world soon, perhaps to you one day.

You wanna know what matters the most about music? The way it feels.

Now to get back to it.  The music.
