365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – 288 – People Are Awesome – Look We Made it into the Daily GOOD!

We’ve just had another whale beaching here in Golden Bay New Zealand. They’re pilot whales and every few years they show up in pods at Puponga, near Farewell Spit. It seems that DoC and us volunteers are becoming ever more ready for these whale visits – there are an endless pool of people on hand to help hydrate them until the tide rises again and they can float out. Though every year whales do die – which isn’t very nice. According to GOOD 65 (of over 80) survived. Check out the Daily GOOD article here. I love that they picked it up. And I love their ‘People Are Awesome’ statement.
So as for me I’ve been on a Wild Energy mission today as the judges sift through the entries, plus I’ve started an exciting NEW project that I will post about very, very soon. Hint: it’s about my new ebook, the 31 days of March and some seriously groovy green action.
