View From Mars – Good News from Around the World

It is always good to hear about people empowering themselves and their environments. Check out this story from from IPS about “Indigenous and rural women from southern Tolima, a province located in the heart of Colombia, who are simultaneously recovering the ecosystem and regaining their own dignity, in a community effort that is changing their environment and their lives.

A wonderful display by mother nature with the “Ring of Fire eclipse” Go to ABCnews.com to read the amazing story. The eclipse lasted for 11 minutes, 8 seconds, an annual duration NASA said would not be exceeded until December 23, 3043.
