Free Public Notices on the Web hits New Zealand

Submitted by on June 7, 2010 – 8:35 pm One Comment

Public notices often contain personal information that you want to let the general public , friends and family know about. Newspapers have been the normal media for getting the news out, but the world wide web is the natural medium to use now as virtually everybody has access to a computer and the web. These days friends and family may be numerous and widely spread and getting the message out is not easy. A new website www.bdmnz.co.nz or Births, Deaths and Marriages Notices New Zealand will allow you to overcome this by allowing  you to list your public notices for free. Being on a website will enable your notice to be viewed throughout New Zealand and the world.

The website is comprehensive in the types of public notices anybody might like to post. It includes Acknowledgements, Births,  Birthdays, Deaths, In-Memoriam, Engagements, Lost and Found, Marriages, Unveiling, Wedding Anniversary Notices. For a small fee, individual notices can have photos or videos attached, and have the notice highlighted. The site also allows for longer obituaries to be published should you want to.

What a good idea! It would be helpful if all our newspapers automatically sent their daily lists for inclusion…
