Vote for Emily Harris to Receive $10,000 from Pure Futures to Help Turn New Zealand’s Rooftops Green

Submitted by on September 24, 2010 – 3:07 pm

Hi,

As you know, I’ve been working hard since February on my vision of building strong, sustainable urban communities through rooftop vege gardening. I’ve created my first demonstration garden and am currently working on proposals for several larger scale communal rooftop vege gardens. I’ve garnered support from loads of enthusiastic volunteers, built a website, and grown hundreds of parsley seedlings to give to people who want to try gardening. I’m currently planning a “Get Growing Auckland” event for 10/10/10.
To keep pouring all my time and energy into this vision, I need money. You can help me get $10,000 funding from Pure Futures by clicking here to visit my Pure Futures page and voting for me. You can help me even more by forwarding this message to your friends, family and colleagues, and sharing this link on Facebook and Twitter: http://www.purefutures.co.nz/emily-harris.aspx
