365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – Blog 220 – Kiwi Diary Arrives in Charlotte Squire’s Letterbox: Ka pai.
Yee haa! I got my Kiwi Diary in the mail. It’s pretty way cool. It’s got a lovely hard, cardboard cover, which is important to me as I often lug my diaries around in my bag. And it is littered with kiwi-ana images, plus great kiwi art, and beautiful words and more. So exciting. Here’s a quote from the Kiwi Diary:
“He kitenga kanohi he hokinga whakaaro” Which means: To see a face is to stir the memory.
Here’s the blurb from their site:
“The Kiwi Diary 2011 is a carefully curated window into Aotearoa’s cultural soul. Containing all the functional bits you need in a diary like a year planner and address book, and spacious enough to write about each day, this 250 page, spiral-bound treasure is decked with your favourite features alongside brand-spanking new talent.
Every page journeys through the collective New Zealand mind: with every page pimped up with art, stories, environmental tips, recipes, music, quotes, jokes and mindfood, the inspiration cycle keeps flowing! The Kiwi Diary is kiwi culture by the road-less travelled, and epitomises Aotearoa-style, plugging you into inspiration, entertainment and info on the good things in life, along with plenty of space for you to diarise the amazingness of 2011.”
