Training For Women
A weekend away with women, on the edge of the Abel Tasman!
Come and be part of a team that supports the inspiration, health and empowerment of teenage girls.
This is an opportunity to learn about rites of passage and Tides programs. It is a powerful and unique experiential course and pre-requisite for those interested in being part of the team at our rite of passage events for teens (training is complete after attending a rite of passage).
Through this training you will gain understanding of:
- Tides culture and protocol
- Communication and group work skills
- Issues young people face today and how rites of passage can support them
- Code of ethics and duty of care policies
- Tides rite of passage programs
- Mentoring
We will be getting to know each other through sharing circles, discussion, being in nature, creating ritual, and sharing food, dreams and ideas.
