Meet the Frockers - Photo - Andy Morley-Hall

The frockers are cordially invited to participate in this ride which is being held in conjunction with the Sarau Festival.

The Gentle Cycling Sarau Festival Ride

Ride Information:
Come on out to the Sarau Festival in the beautiful Moutere & take a gentle country bike ride. This is a new event, in addition to the popular mountain bike race which takes a longer version of the route. The route is a loop, with a 7 or 11km option, & finishes at the festival site. Cyclists will travel along quiet sealed roads, farm tracks & mown paddocks, passing through vineyards, raspberry & blackcurrant fields, hop gardens & open fields.  Frockers might want to swap their heels for stylish plimsolls as they should expect to get their feet a little damp crossing a shallow ford. There are some rolling hills, but nothing very steep, on the road section at the beginning & the remainder is flat. Children welcome, recommended for age 8 and older.
When: Sunday 30 January, ride starts 5pm
Entry fee (includes festival entry): Adult $15; Child $5.00; Family $40.00.  All proceeds to the Sarau Festival.
Registration information: www.saraufestival.co.nz
