Happyzine 2015 = exciting times ahead

I’ve gotta say, I’ve got a great balance of rural living and high-speed internet.  Today I emailed ebook proposals to Oprah and Ellen Degeneres, plus a few other TV shows world-wide, and then nipped out to a beach-side pot luck dinner complete with roaring fire, crashing waves and bright stars, as well as a great bunch of friends to gossip, howl and cackle with.

This is pretty much my daily existence right now as I run my website and promote my new ebook: I send out a steady stream of ebook proposals and pitches to Editors, producers, managers and various other people world-wide, then toddle off down the street to play-centre, or to the beach, or to the market.

Right now I’m on a steep learning curve, while I have had some success and several sites (and one radio station) have taken on the mission of promoting my ebook, I’m still waiting for a significant sign of success in terms of ebook sales.  So it’s a matter of trying any ideas that crop up, mine or someone else’s, and holding out for a few big breaks as I seek to give my ebook the life that it was born to live.  I will well and truly let you know when I hit success.  I’m looking forward to it.  Mean time I’ve got a life to enjoy.  And tonight’s time standing round a beach fire with my family and friends rocked!
