365 Days of Fun and Chillaxation – 336 – Bliss on a Beach

Submitted by on March 30, 2011 – 3:59 pm

Most amazing moment today: following in the footsteps of my son as he headed determinedly towards the incoming tide, at sunset.  His three year old legs were carrying him along at a solid pace.  We had a fair way to go.  He was stubborn.  I was too.  Though we had different motives.  He was determined to see the water and swim in it.  I was determined not to miss out on hanging out with my single minded, curious son on a mission.  I was also feeling extremely grateful to be with him, on a beach, at sunset, in Golden Bay. Once again.

Parenthood rocks.
