Dynamic Community Learning Awards

 – Celebrating the community part of adult and community education

Kia ora,

There is an exciting opportunity coming up…..  If you are part of – or know of – groups or organisations that are making a real difference in their community through adult and community education activities we, the organisers, are keen to have your entries for the 2011 Dynamic Communtiy Learning Award.  There will be two prizes of $200 presented at the 1 November Launch of Adult Learners Week.  We are looking for activities that:

  • create community learning  benefits (ie beyond the individual)
  • foster learning that leads to new developments
  • expand community, cultural knowledge
  • help promote active citizenship
  • strengthen the whanau/family
  • strengthen neighbourhood and community
