Free U2 Concert on You Tube

Submitted by on October 20, 2009 – 9:06 am

So for us, the selected few (as well as Australia, Brazil, Britain, Canada, France, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, South Korea, Spain and the United States) well ok, that’s more than a few countries, a real live U2 concert will be available, free and live, online via You Tube this Sunday.  God I love this new age of sharing, also known as the participation economy which, as I previously remarked, is very sexy now. I love U2.  In fact they’re the first band I ever truly adored.  The Rattle and Hum album stole my heart and I listened to it in true obsessive mode for a good year.  U2 take me to that PLACE that music can take us too, oh I feel all shivery talking about it, that PLACE that words can’t descibe and you know you’re there because you feel totally in love with absolutely everything – which, now that I’m writing this as an adult U2 lover totally makes sense because some people call this place God.  Sigh.  I really love U2.  So I guess this means I’ll be tuning in, I hesitate a little as I’m not sure how the streaming thing will go on my dearly loved and well used computer.  But who cares!?  It’s U2!  And it’s free.  Yes, indeed, we live in the age of sharing, and the feelings that sharing evoke are both simple and priceless.
