I discovered these tane (Maori word for ‘men’) today via their amazing you tube video (see below) which received 18,000 hits over four days last week and was listed as a significant trending video on you tube.  They’re not all happy happy joy joy, but they’re spunky and onto it and inspiring.  It’s refreshing to find this work.  I wonder who produced their video – it’s great – sassy, funny, sharp, dark, geeky and amusing.  You can see all manner of influences creeping into their music and dance – from Micheal Jackson to Supergroove to the Big Bang Theory to Manpower.  Check them out:
