Submitted by on February 24, 2012 – 8:15 pm

Guest Speaker: Rick Thorpe

Friday 24th February 2012
12.30pm-1.30pm

Solscape Eco-Retreat, 611 Wainui Road, Manu Bay, Raglan

Rick Thorpe is one of the founders of Xtreme Waste and lives on a permaculture farm in Raglan (often considered the godfather of Raglan permaculture).  He holds a Diploma in Permaculture and a Degree in Ecology.  Rick has worked in and around the Pacific on numerous conservation projects, from setting up marine reserves, and rehabilitating the critically endangered black robin, to managing WWF project funding, as well as working as a DOC Ranger for 10 years.

Join us on Friday to share in Rick’s wealth of knowledge and experience in sustainable development and community lead enterprise. (Note the session will be video recorded and made available for download – email [email protected] to receive the link).
