Four uses for localy grown apple at Carrie’s place in Uruwhenua

An afternoon of gathering apples from our neighbours apple trees.  We have dried them with cinnamon, stewed them, eaten them whole and used them as a yummy sauce for roast pork.

It was a lovely visit to our neighbours also, she had organised to do egg dying with the kids and I enjoyed a yummy smoothie will made with fruit form her garden.
