Auckland, NZ: Ever wanted to know what it’s like to drive an Electric Vehicle? With Lovenotes’ new partnership with Blue Cars, you can win a 4 day Electric Vehicle package and experience it yourself.

Lovenotes, the Auckland based service provider that turns workplace waste paper into reusable office stationery, have teamed up with Blue Cars, an Electric Vehicle rental company aimed at accelerating electric vehicle adoption in New Zealand. To celebrate this, they are giving away a 4 day EV experience by launching a social media competition called #ElectricLoveNZ.

The competition invites people to take a photo of themselves with the hashtag #ElectricLoveNZ written on a SCRAP piece of paper and then share it on their Instagram. Each entry must include a caption with the hashtag #ElectricLoveNZ and tag and follow @lovenotes.co.nz. The Winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from the Top 10 most liked entries.

The competition is open to all. Nominations close on Thursday 18 June.  The prize is available in Auckland (pick-up / drop-off to Blue Cars in Mt Eden).

Terms and Conditions can be found at www.lovenotes.co.nz/ElectricLoveNZ

All Lovenotes deliveries in June will use a Nissan LEAF, courtesy of Blue Cars, the best selling EV on the world market, to add to their collective impacts and help reduce carbon emissions closer to zero.

About Lovenotes:

Lovenotes is a Auckland-based thoughtful stationery company that began with the simplest of ideas – reusing workplace waste paper and turning it into notepads, notebooks, and everyday stationery. Over 90 companies around Auckland have signed up for the Lovenotes service, generating a new and dynamic way of refreshing, reusing, and recycling in the office. Lovenotes is currently working towards a goal to reuse one million pieces of paper by the end of 2015. www.lovenotes.co.nz

About Blue Cars:

Blue Cars’ ambition is to accelerate the uptake and adoption of electric vehicles in New Zealand. Electric vehicles have become an increasingly viable and attractive option the world over. Blue Cars founder Carl Barlev, who has an impressive background in the electric vehicle industry, believes that the ideal climate and the high proportion of locally produced renewable energy makes New Zealand highly suited for electric vehicle adoption. They hope that by providing electric vehicles as a rental service, they make them more visible in the community and increase the EV ownership in New Zealand. www.bluecars.nz
