 Ocean clean up

The biggest environmental problem you’ve never heard of – Plastic pollution is devastating marine wildlife and increasing the risk of human infertility, birth defects and cancer.  Yet there is hope!  Most awesomely, our unlikely saviour could be a 21-year-old from Holland.

Boyan Slat (1994) is a Dutch entrepreneur and inventor who creates technologies to tackle global issues of sustainability. He is the founder and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup, where he is responsible for overall strategy and cleanup technology development.

Boyan Slat has been recognized as one of the 20 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs Worldwide.

Here’s hoping this is where business is heading – waaaaaay into sustainable technology.
