Vacancy: Happyzine National Sponsorship Coordinator

Submitted by on June 11, 2012 – 5:21 pmNo Comment

Help us change the world via stories of inspiration and possibility.

An opportunity has arisen within Happyzine – New Zealand’s world-changing positive news website – for a key person to coordinate the National Local Good News Sponsorship Campaign.

This person will be responsible for establishing and developing long term sustainable relationships between Happyzine and members of New Zealand’s environmentally and socially responsible business networks; as well as supporting Happyzine to position itself as the prime space to advertise socially and environmentally responsive businesses and organisations, online.

This is a part-time, twelve month, paid-on-commission, contractural position.  This role is designed to be performed from home, from anywhere, online.

Your core role will be to secure three, six and twelve month marketing agreements with businesses, individuals and organsations who are willing to sponsor Local Good News Columns, for New Zealand towns and cities.

Key qualities sought from Sponsorship Coordinator:

*  Knowledge of, and experience within New Zealand’s fairtrade and environmentally sustainable business sectors

*  Familiarity with green and fairtrade certification agencies

*  Proven, positive track record in securing longterm, positive, sustainable relationships with key sponsors

*  Proven record of achievement in work history

*  Clear alignment with Happyzine’s socially and environmentally sustainable ethos and desire to change the world

*  Ability to focus, persist and consistently work towards monthly targets

*  Natural aptitude and passion for sales and marketing

*  Experienced at using skype, social media and other online services as central communication tools

*  Record of excellent, open, honest communication skills

This position would suit someone who has the need to work from home, for two to three hours per day.  This person will recognise an exciting opportunity to use their skills, experience and natural strengths to assist Happyzine to step up to the next level, whilst also adding to their personal vocational experience,  and earning a commission for their efforts.

Please send your C.V. and expression of interest to: [email protected]
